Hello everyone,
I hope everyone’s okay. This is what I’m going to be getting up to these next couple of weeks. I’m heading down to Leysdown tomorrow morning with my manager. Tomorrow afternoon myself and my manager will be discussing our ideas for New Years Eve where I will be performing at Sidcup, The Dutch House in London. If anyone is interested then please visit the website at http://www.h4hlive.info
It’s going to be a fantastic evening with Live Entertainment from myself, Raffle, Buffet, Disco & Karaoke plus a spectacular fireworks display!
On Saturday I am attending the Harts Holiday Park end of season party which I’m quite looking forward to. I’ve been told there will be a buffet plus entertainment throughout the evening. The dress code is suit and tie and it’s for 18 year olds and over. On Sunday I’m hopefully going to be performing at Little Groves Holiday Park in the evening. As everyone breaks up tomorrow it would be great to perform there. I’ll be doing some video work during the beginning of next week plus a few photo shoots around where we are staying. On the 30th October I’m performing at The Dutch House at 6.00pm alongside other great acts. It’s going to be a great evening of entertainment so it would be nice to see a few of you there. The following evening on the 31st I’m performing at a girls 18th Birthday Party. I’ve heard there are going to be a lot of people turning up to the party and I’m really looking forward to it. I will make sure I keep everyone updated with what I’m doing.
I’m currently trying to put together a Help For Heroes Tour diary which will be available on my official website at http://www.michaelhinch.com. The tour diary will show clips of me singing at the different events I’ve been performing at over the last few months. Hopefully, the tour diary will be up and running shortly and I’ll speak to you all soon.

Hello everyone,
I’m sure some of you have been thinking where Michael has been for the last couple of months. Well, I’ve been extremely busy touring around London and Leysdown helping support the fantastic charity, Help for Heroes. I have sung at all the holiday camps in Leysdown and have managed to get myself fairly well known down there! I have received lots of positive comments throughout and have been really pleased with the reception of the different audiences I’ve been getting from all the events.
I started my tour in London performing at both the Prince Regent and Dutch House. I had lots of positive feedback off the audience from both events and I might possibly be performing back at the Dutch House on New Year’s Eve. When performing at the Dutch House I managed to get everyone joining in with my songs and singing along which was great. At the end of my set, everyone started shouting ‘more, more!!’ at me, so that felt good lol. I think I sang for about an extra half an hour lol, but I really enjoyed it. Especially singing Amarillo because everyone got up onto their feet and started dancing around the pub lol. After I performed at the Dutch House I left straight away to head down to Leysdown as I had an event the next day. While I’ve been in Leysdown I’ve been staying at Shane’s Caravan which I’m thankful for! If I haven’t had an event in the evening I’ve mainly been spending time in the club which is on the caravan site itself.
My next event was at the Talk of the Town which is a bar along the sea front. Luckily the weather pulled off and it turned out to be a really nice, hot afternoon. A lot of people turned up for the afternoon and I performed an hour set alongside two other acts. I had a lot of support that day from my fans and it was a successful event. Once I’d finished the event I was luckily approached by a few booking agents who were extremely interested in me! One of the people who approached me was the owner of Coin Castle. Coin Castle is the biggest arcade in Leysdown and attracts a lot of people every day. He wanted me to perform inside and outside of the arcade which myself and my manager thought it was a good idea so we agreed to his offer. The next event was at Kingsbury in Minster which was one of the smaller holiday parks but it still attracted lots of people for the evening. I did an hour set again and I was able to sell more of my CD’s! There was a point during my song, ‘Amarillo,’ where a young child started dancing on the dance floor lol, I think he was getting to into it lol. Once I left the holiday park I headed back to the club on the caravan site. My next event was at Central Beach where once again I received a positive reaction from the audience. My song, ‘Human’ went down really well because everyone knew it so they all decided to join in lol. Once I’d finished my set, the audience started chanting ‘one more’ which was great to hear. I didn’t perform till fairly late simply because the club didn’t get busy till much later in the evening. So, as soon as I got back from the club I went straight to bed, haha lol. I will carry on with the rest of my tour blog tomorrow!
Speak to you all soon.

Hi everyone,
On Thursday I drove down to Colchester from South East London with my manager and Shane from S+L Entertainment. I was judging for the Spirit Factor competition at a local venue near where I live. I judged quite a few acts and after they had all sang I performed a set of four songs which were; 'Perfect Pop Song, Any Dream will do, Human and Footloose.' When the Spirit Factor competition finished in the evening, me, Shane and my manager all headed back to Shane's to stay for the night. When we left Colchester, we had to drive through a storm which meant it took us longer to get back. Soon after leaving we had to drive through a massive flood. As soon as I got to Shane's I crashed out lol. I got up Friday morning at about 6.00 because I had a photo shoot with Paul (my official photographer) from 121pics. I had to be at the studio for 9.00. During my photoshoot in the studio I had to get changed into several different outfits. For the first lot of pictures I was in front of a white background and the rest in front of a black background. Hopefully the pictures will be up and running on my website shortly! I left the photography studio and went to two different locations around Margate. During the afternoon I chilled out at the hotel I was staying at and grabbed something to eat. As it was Paul's birthday we all went bowling in the evening which was good fun! We played three games and then headed back to our hotel.
On Saturday I performed at the Thanet Pride event in Margate which went extremely well. I met the organiser of the event at midday and was told I was performing at 1.30. I sang eight songs in total. The stage as usual was on the seafront and it was packed with hundreds of people. The audience were fantastic and joined in with every song. Runaway and Amarillo went down the best as everyone recognised the songs and sang along. Luckily the weather pulled off which meant it was a great turn out. I had Paul from 121pics and Shane from S+L Entertainment to support and work with me by taking photos and videos of me on stage. The pictures taken from the event will be up and running on my website shortly so make sure you keep checking. Both Paul and Shane brought friends along with them which was great! I received a really good reception from the audience which I was thankful for. I always enjoy performing at the Thanet Pride event because they always attract a large audience. When I finished my set I signed autographs and had my picture taken with quite a few people from the audience. We all left Margate together and headed back up to Colchester as I had an another event today. We all arrived in Colchester at 7.30 and checked in at the hotel.
I woke up this morning and began setting up the equipment etc for the event. The event was called 'The Big Lunch.' It is a nationwide event which takes place across the UK. The event started at 12.30. There were inflatables, barbeque, face painting etc which meant there was lots of activities for children to do during the afternoon. I performed my set in the middle of the afternoon which I really enjoyed. The audience were great and I was pleased with my performance. I am going on holiday tomorrow so I won't be writing another blog for a couple of weeks.
Hope you all enjoy your Summer holiday!

Hi everyone,
I left Colchester Friday afternoon and arrived at Shane's house from S+L Entertainment in London. I unpacked my bag etc and then me, my manager and Shane headed to the 'Fox Under The Hill' pub as I was performing there later in the evening. We set up the equipment and I had a sound check. Everything was fine so we all set off back to Shane's house. We chilled out there for about an hour while I rehearsed through my set. Paul from 121pics had come up from Margate to see me perform and also take pictures during my set. We got back down to the 'Fox Under The Hill' pub at 6.30 and I performed at 7.00. My set lasted for fifty minutes and consisted of both ballads such as 'Chasing Cars' and 'She's The One' and up beat songs such as, 'Amarillo' and 'The Perfect Pop Song.' I felt I sang my set really well and I received positive feedback from the audience. The manager of the pub was also extremely pleased with my performance. We ate dinner there and headed back to Shane's. We all got a fairly early night because we were all going paint balling the next day along with Shane's friends.
It was an early start Saturday morning as everyone left at 7.30. Shane's work partner, Lee, drove the mini bus to the paint balling and we arrived in perfect time. Once I was given the full equipment I had a talk from one of the marshalls about health and safety and also how to use the gun. This was my first time paint balling so I felt a little bit apprehensive before I started but once the first game had gone I was fine. I played seven different games in total during the day which were all great fun! My favourite game was called, 'Assassinate the president' where you had one team defending the president in a hut while the other team had to attack and shoot/assassinate the president. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the day even though the paint balls did hurt lol. It was gd fun playing paint balling with Shane, Paul and my manager although it was unfortunate that my manager had to stop playing after about three games because his knee was playing up. I thought it was quite cool that you could use paint ball grenades, gas grenades and flash bangs during the games, it made the games more interesting and harder to play. We all jumped into the mini bus and headed back to Shane's house where we then went straight to the pub lol. In the evening I did promotional pictures around Shane's house with Paul. I left Shane's Sunday morning and arrived home Sunday afternoon.

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't updated my blog for a while but I've been extremely busy recently.
I performed at a Wedding Reception last Saturday in London which was really enjoyable. I sang 'No Matter What' for their first dance which they both really appreciated. My first set consisted of ballads such as 'Unbreakable' 'Home' 'She's The One' etc. They all went down well with the audience and I had everyone's attention. I sang my second set later in the evening, it was the complete opposite to my first as I sang upbeat songs such as; 'Runaway' 'Human' 'Footloose' etc. The upbeat songs I sang were well known by everyone which meant they could all join in, sing along and basically have a great time. I also sang 'Beautiful Girls' by Sean Kingston which I felt sounded really good and the audience loved it. The song is definately different compared to what I usually sing and I'm hoping to perform it again this Saturday at Thanet Pride in Margate on the 18th July.
Spirit Factor began last Monday in East Grinstead which I attended as a judge and as a special act. I met Kat Price for the first time. She's a lovely person and it's been really enjoyable working with her. The competition is run through eight venues across Essex and the finals are being held in Basildon. I was asked by Kat to judge Spirit Factor because I have been through this type of competition myself. As I entered a similar competition myself and was spotted by a management company, Kat wanted me to give feedback to the acts from my own experience. The competition started off with all six acts having to sing one song. To the right of the stage was the panel where there were four judges including myself. I was given a sheet with different headings on, such as 'Vocal Performance' which I then had to give a mark out of ten. Once we'd all finished filling in our sheets we were allowed to give the acts feedback on their performances. I thought I would find this part of the judging difficult but I managed to give back feedback perfectly fine. After everyone had performed their first song we took a break. During the break I got up on to the stage and sang 'Human' which went down well as everyone joined in and had their hands in the air. After the break the acts then sang their second song. It was similar to the first half of the competition as I had to fill out the sheets and give feedback to the acts. All the acts performed really well and I actually quite enjoyed judging lol. The next Spirit factor took place in Basildon which once again was fun to judge. There were nine acts all together and they all sang really well. Towards the end of the evening when Kat was adding up the scores, I performed three songs to the acts and audinece. Footloose which was my last song went down the best as everyone joined in and I got a good reception from the audience. The next Spirit Factor took place in London. There weren't as many acts for this one however it still turned out to be another great evening. I've enjoyed judging the competition so far and am looking forward to judging at the next venues later this week.

Hi everyone,
Here's what I've been up to recently. On Monday I headed up to Kent as I was hoping to be performing at a secondary school down that way. In the evening I worked out my exact set and grabbed something to eat. During Tuesday morning I was told by my manager that I was unable to perform as there was an exam being held in the hall. Luckily the day wasn't wasted as I did lots of promotional pictures during the day at various locations such as 'the airbase.' In the evening I went through the pictures that were taken which look really gd and hopefully they will be up and running on my website shortly. I headed back to Colchester on Wednesday and arrived home at midday.
I left Colchester Thursday morning and headed up to Leicester as I was performing at a Ablington secondary school in the afternoon. I arrived in Leicester and went straight to the school. I got changed, had a sound check etc and then finally performed at 1.30. I performed to the whole of year 7 and my first set consisted of five songs. They all went down really well, especially Amarillo. The whole of year 7 really enjoyed themselves and joined in to almost every song. Once I had performed my first set I went backstage and had a drink etc and got myself ready for my second set. I sang three songs during my second set and once again they all went down really well! I repeated 'Amarillo' as everyone loved it the first time. The second time I sang it, everyone sang throughout the whole song, standing up and clapping along to the song. Once I'd finished singing I went backstage again however all the pupils were singing and shouting, 'We want more!' which obviously made me feel extremely gd about myself. I got back on to stage and sang 'Human' again which the year 7's really enjoyed. I got a really gd reception from the audience and I managed to get everyone joining in for my last song. As soon as I finished singing I did a question and answer response with the year 7's, which was interesting but really fun at the same time. When I was on stage I mentioned about signing autographs at the end and fortunately everyone stayed behind and waited for an autograph. It was really enjoyable performing at the school and I was welcomed back by the staff to perform again next year. I went back to the hotel and chilled out for most of the afternoon.
I woke up this morning at 6.30. I can honestly say that last night was the worst night sleep I've had for ages lol. It was really hot and stuffy in the room and horrible lol. I arrived in London today at 10.00 where I met Shane Gillespie from S+L ENTERTAINMENT. Luckily Shane had managed to get both me and him free tickets for Go Karting which was fun, even if it did take me a little longer to get used to the track lol. I left Go Karting and went to the O2 Arena to have a look around the place and also to take a few promotional pics. We all left the O2 Arena and headed back to Shane's house while stopping off at KFC to grab some food. Most of the afternoon has been spent relaxing and preparing myself for tomorrow. In the evening Shane took me and my manager out to the Clarendon Hotel to watch Lee Jackson as (Elvis Presley) perform. I was impressed with his performance and everyone watching him thoroughly enjoyed their evening. I am currently at Shane's house and am looking forward to tomorrow's event.

Hi everyone,
I woke up this morning and caught the 10.00 bus into college. I spent all day at the college library revising for my Englsih Language exam which is next Monday. As I'm going away tomorrow to Sittingbourne for the 'Walk With Michael' event I am trying to do as much revision as possible. I am getting my hair highlighted tomorrow which I' really looking forward to. Hopefully there will be new pics of myself with my new hairstyle lol, up and running on my website very soon so keep checking! I saw my manager this evening at the hotel down the road from where I live. We discussed through up and coming events which are taking place later this year and also what was going to be happening this weekend.

Hi everyone,
This weekend I was away in Greenwich, in London helping support the Help for Heroes event. On Friday morning I had an English Language exam which I felt went okay. After my exam finished I left college and met up with my manager in town. We drove to my house, collected all my stuff and headed to Greenwich. It only took about an hour and a half so it weren't too bad. I met Shane Gillespie, the organiser of the event and he gave me a run down on what the plan was for Saturday evening. Paul, my official photographer from 121pics came down from Margate to the event to take both videos and pictures of myself. Most of the afternoon I was with Shane in the downstairs part of the pub singing songs through his Karaoke machine, which was good fun. Shane really wanted to sing with me Saturday evening so we went through lots of songs and eventually chose 'Hound Dog' by Elvis Presley lol. It was a good choice as we both enjoyed singing it and also it was up tempo and lively. In the evening we all went to a pub across the road to support both Shane and his work partner Lee, who were going to be DJing all night.
I had a lie in Saturday morning and eventually got up at about 11.30 lol. The upstairs part of the pub was where all the artists were performing. I had a sound check early afternoon which went well. Once I'd finished my sound check, Paul and Shane started singing together which was quite funny to listen to however saying that, I was quite impressed with their singing. I met both Luke Jackson and Sean Rumsey who were really nice people to talk to. The event kicked off at 6.30 and the army arrived at 8.00. Both Sean and Luke performed before me and they both have great voices and it was enjoyable to listen to them both. I performed at 10.00. I sang 'No Matter What, Runaway, Amarillo and Footloose' followed by 'Hound Dog' with Shane. I was really pleased with my set and I managed to get everyone's hands in the air and dancing on the dance floor. At one point I actually jumped down from the stage and started joining in with everyone on the dance floor while still singing, lol. After I’d performed I went down the road and had a KFC and then went back to the pub where I chilled out and talked to people.
I arrived home at midday. While I was away I met a lot of really nice people. I really enjoyed myself and the event as a whole was a massive success.

Hi everyone,
I got a lift in to college this morning from my dad as I had an exam at 9.15. It was my Performance Studies exam and I found it quite difficult. My exam was on Post Modernism and how it has changed since 1960. I had to talk about all the features of Post Modernism and give specific examples relating to the texts we had studied. It was a two hour exam on one question. After my exam had finished I headed into town and got something to eat. I went back to college and began revising for my other two exams which are this week on Thursday and Friday. I caught the bus home and sang through my set for the 13th June, this Saturday which I'm really looking forward to. I've just had my dinner and I'm about to watch 'The Apprentice' which I recorded last night.
